Endorsements
The Wisconsin College Republicans reserve the right to endorse candidates at both the local and national level. Candidates listed below are ones the Executive Board has voted on and pledges to support. Endorsed candidates get preferential treatment for volunteers and support from our students and team. Below are listed the official Wisconsin College Republican Endorsements for the 2024 Election Cycle
Donald Trump
On January 1, 2024, the Wisconsin College Republicans endorsed President Donald J. Trump for his bid for the Presidency in November. President Trump reflects the America First values of our federation, membership was ecstatic to issue our endorsement for him. Prior to our official endorsement, our membership volunteered with his team for phone banking as well as a Commit to Caucus event in Cedar Rapids, here Chairman Billy Blathras and Vice Chairman Kaden Crapp were able to be photographed with President Trump. Following our endorsement, the federation sent two dozen members to Iowa in order to volunteer for his campaign, with the opportunity to meet President Trump being open to more members. The entire organization is committed to President Trump turning Wisconsin red this November!

Tom Tiffany
On February 14, 2024, the Wisconsin College Republicans endorsed Congressman Tom Tiffany for a fourth term representing the 7th Congressional District of Wisconsin. He is one of the most effective grassroots candidates in the state, and is a hardliner on both immigration and national security issues. Congressman Tiffany has been supported by our organization for a number of years, dating back to his May 2020 special election. Since then, the Congressman and our federation have worked closely, with Congressman Tiffany being honored as a keynote speaker at a number of college republican events, including the 2023 Wisconsin College Republican Convention at Wisconsin Lutheran College. Our team is looking forward to cementing another stellar victory for Congressman Tiffany this November and keeping the Northwoods Republican.

Nate Gustafson
On February 27, 2024, the Wisconsin College Republicans endorsed State Representative Nate Gustafson (R-Fox Crossing) of the 55th Assembly District. Representative Gustafson was our first state level endorsement, and one that we were proud to make. He is a conservative fighter with a proven record, representing youth in government. Representative Gustafson has been a great friend of our College Republicans since taking office and is a stalwart fighter for unapologetic conservative values. We are thrilled to be working with him and all conservatives in the Fox Valley to secure a majority for Wisconsin Republicans in the State Assembly. Representative Gustafson is a key model for our students and members on what being a strong conservative and Republican means in the state of Wisconsin.
